Altar Servers

Any person who has received First Communion is able to become an Altar Server. This important work is to assist the Priest at Mass and give an example of attending to the celebration. Please approach Father Norbert if you would like to become a Server.

This is the official overseas development agency of the Catholic Church. Its work is aimed at combating hunger, ignorance, disease and suffering.

Friends of Welwyn Care Homes

Friends of Welwyn Care Homes is a group of volunteers, a number of them from the Welwyn Garden City parish, who visit local Care Homes and provide various activities for the residents. They support the Homes staff with a view to enhance the residents wellbeing. Their motto is "Friendship Companionship and Laughter". We welcome new volunteers and the main contact is Anne Horsman.

 Justice and Peace

KSC

The order of the Knights of St Columba exists to support the mission of the Church. It is pledged to support its members in their vocation and mission as Catholics and in spreading the Gospel. Members of the order will diligently work for the moral and social welfare of their country and in particular to help young people develop in the likeness of Christ. Meetings are held monthly. Missio

The Association for the Propagation of the Faith. The APF supports the work of the Church in the poorer countries by prayer and financial help. Parishioners can either have a box to collect throughout the year, or pay a yearly subscription.

Music

We welcome people to join us and enhance the Liturgy.  Musicians and singers are always welcome to join this group.

Readers

Readers serve the parish by proclaiming the Word of God at Mass.

A team of parishioners meet and greet people as they arrive for weekend mass.
